Elections for next year's PTO Team will be here soon! Now's the time to start thinking about where you'd like to help. Interested in a particular position? See below for a summary on each board position. Next year's board will take over on July 1st, 2025, committing to their roles through June 2026. Each role is unique and can of course be personalized to the individual volunteer.

 

Requirements for all positions include being a PTO member in good standing, a parent/guardian of a currently enrolled SPES student, maintaining that status throughout the term, and agreeing to uphold the bylaws and mission statement of the PTO.

 

We thank you in advance for considering how you might best be able to fulfill one of these important volunteer roles. Please reach out ASAP to spelementarypto@gmail.com to ask questions and/or express interest, then come to the meeting on April 1st (or send a proxy if you can't make it) to self-nominate or nominate a friend.

 

Please note that without officers, the PTO and its programs cannot exist. Non-profit law requires a minimum of a President and Treasurer to proceed, so it is imperative volunteers step up. Otherwise, our organization's doors will close in June and our funds will be dispersed. Please feel free to email the current PTO board with any questions.

Committees 

The PTO is comprised of several committees to oversee our programs and events.

The leads for these committees play an integral role in the operations of our team, making what we do possible! These roles are perfect for the adult who wants to volunteer in a specific capacity, with a team of additional volunteers to support. Stay tuned for details about needed Committee Leads for the next school year.
